The most awaited film of pan Indian superstar Prabhas is here. Salaar Part 1 : Ceasefire movie is the first instalment of Salaar franchise by the very well known director Prashanth Neel, who also directed KGF and KGF Chapter – 2 earlier. Salaar Part 1 : Ceasefire movie is a 2023 Telugu Indian language mass action film.
The movie is directed and written by Prashanth Neel and produced by Vijay Kiragandur under the banner of hombale films. This movie is based on 2014 Indian kannada language film which is also directed by Prashant Neel. Salaar movie starring Prabhas and Prithviraj Sukumaran and Shruti Hassan in the lead role.

Salaar Part 1 : Ceasefire movie casting is also grand like the theme and sets of the salaar. In the main lead there are two biggest superstars of the south industries Prabhas and Prithviraj Sukumaran.
First we are talking about Prabhas as Devaratha “Deva”, I’m personally not satisfied with his acting in this movie especially because his expression in most of the scenes were same. A flat facial expression shown by him from the beginning to the end, very disappointed with his performance in this movie.
Prithviraj Sukumaran in a dual role as Vardha Raja Mannar and Siva Mannar, his acting was really nice and promising in this movie. He maturely carry the role of Vardha Raja Mannar, excited to see more of him in his next project.
Shruti Hassan as Aadhya Krishnakanth, she has a limited screen time and her most scenes were during the first half of the film. She got a role according to her acting skills and her acting was also decent throughout the movie.
Easwari Rao as in the role of deva’s mother, her performance was really powerful and full of energy and she delivers a compact role very easily with the help of her acting skills.
Jagapathi babu as Raja Mannar (father of Vardha Raja Mannar), we all are well known about his capabilities and we never doubted him in any role, and once again his performance was phenomenal and supreme in this movie as Raja Mannar.
In this movie there are many more actors and performers who delivered their best i.e Bobby Simha as Bhaarava, Tinna Anand as Gaikwad “Baba”, Sriya Reddy as Radha Rama Mannar, Devraj as Om, Ramachandra Raju as Rudra Raja Mannar, Naveen Shankar as Pandit, John Vijay as Ranga, MS Chowdary as Narang, Vajrang Shetty as Vishnu and many more. All actors delivered their decent performance.
Salaar Part 1 : Ceasefire Movie Story
The movie start from the one of the strongest bond that is friendships. Vardha’s brother snatches the nose ring of Vardha, which is symbol of belongingness and only king’s family can wear that nose ring, Vardha don’t able to protect his nose ring against his own brother from another mother.
Then he goes to the DEVA to seek help, then deva fought a wrestler for him and returned his nose ring and one day deva was in trouble and vardha gave his bracelet to their enemy just to protects deva and deva’s mother from that goons that bracelet (kada) is a symbol of power and their respective area and after that act of vardha his own father never accepts him to their kingdom and rank him below of everyone.
Deva promises him that whenever Vardha needs him, no matter what the situation is, deva will be there for Vardha. This is the only 15-20 minutes of movie and the movie has many things that I can’t disclosed here because I don’t want to give you a spoiler that spoils all the entertainment for you. The movie is full of actions and carry a well written and directed story.
Salaar Part 1 : Ceasefire Movie Budget & Box-Office-Collection
Prashanth Neel directed and written Salaar Part 1 : Ceasefire movie is being made on budget of 270 crores and it is released on 22 December 2023 with expected more than 6,000 screens which is totally based on hype of the movie and craze of the Bahubali 1 & Bahubali 2 actor “Prabhas” and KGF 1 & Chapter 2 director “Prashanth Neel” and overseas the movie got 1000 screens approx.
The film is released in the 5 major languages of India i.e., Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Tamil and Telugu. The movie received an A certificate because of the intense fight sequences and terrifying violence.
On its first day of release the movies earns Rs 176.52 crores and Rs 101.39 crores in second day(Gross). The movie earns total Rs 556.84 crores in just 8 days(Gross).
The reaction of critics was also positive about the movie and this movie was undoubtedly the most anticipating movie of 2023.
