Dhokha: Round D Corner
Dhokha: Round D Corner is a 2022 Indian Hindi-language crime thriller film, which is directed by Kookie Gulati and produced by one of the biggest production houses of Bollywood named T-series.
The movie stars R. Madhvan, Darshan Kumar, Aparshakti Khurrana, and Khushalii Kumar. The film is based on a crime thriller and tries a different and unique storytelling technique, which is definitely new for Bollywood and at the same time, is also engaging.

Talking about the acting, then there is no need to introduce R. Madhavan to you, playing the role of Yathaart Sinha, and once again he was phenomenal in his role and he is so powerful in this movie in terms of acting that he actually makes the movie more intense only by his appearance.
Next, we see Khushali Kumar as Sanchi Sinha (Yathaart Sinha’s wife). She really impressed the Audience with her acting and her stunning look. She’s beautiful and also has the ability to deliver a powerful performance.
Aparsakti Khurana as Haq Gul, playing the role of terrorist. This is something, that will amaze you. I bet you have never seen Aparsakti Khurana at this level. He’s actually living the character and totally under the skin of the character, way of talking, facial expressions, body language all the things that were top-notch about him.
Darshan Kumar as Inspector Malik also delivered a superb performance and showed his acting skills once again.
Dhokha Movie Story
The film starts with an introductory song by Jubin Nautiyal, in the course of which a couple resides in a swanky Mumbai apartment. Yathaart Sinha and Sanchi Sinha were living together and it’s shown to us like Sanchi Sinha has a problem of personality disorder.
One day a terrorist named Haq Gul who has accused of killing 13 boys in a hostel in Mumbai by a bomb blast. Ran away from the police and takes charge of the house of Yathaart Sinha when Sanchi Sinha was all alone. Everyone in the movie has their own version of reality. On one side Yathaart Sinha tells everyone about his sick wife and on the other hand, Sanchi Sinha tells about her husband who is cheating on her.
Haq Gul telling that he is not a terrorist. and inspector Malik has his own motive. I personally can’t reveal much about this now. But in film, you see different stories and perspectives by different people and it actually makes hard for you to decide who is right and who is wrong among them. Dhokha: round D Corner is a tale of lies and harsh truths.
Dhokha Movie collection
The Kookie Gulati-directed film Dhokha has a budget of only 15 crores and it is released on 23 September 2022 theatrically.
On its first day, the 15 crores budgeted film come and gathered Rs. 1.25 crores. What’s more impressive is that this has happened with reduced ticket prices and a very restricted release.
If there had been more capacity available then the collections would have been better. It’s also impressive because where a budget ranging from 80 to 100 crores films is struggling to get an opening of Rs. 2-3 crores this film managed to earn Rs 1.25 crores with reduced ticket prices.
The R. Madhavan starring movie managed to earn Rs 2.40 crores by the last Sunday(3rd day) and worldwide collections of the movie were Rs 3.10 crores.
