Jaane Jaan movie is a 2023 Bollywood Indian hindi-language crime mystery thriller film which is directed and written by Sujoy Ghosh. Jane Jaan is an indian adaption of a Japanese movie named suspect X which released in year 2008, both the movies (suspect X) and (Jaane Jaan) was adaptation of the Keigo Higashino’s one of the famous and award winning Japanese novel named The devotion of suspect X.

Jaane Jaan movie had a bunch of talented and skilful performers in the movie and everyone delivered their finest work to the movie and made the movie a realtime experience for the viewer.
In the main lead you will see Kareena kapoor khan as Mrs. D’Souza, playing a role of single mother and a receptionist at her own cafe in Kalimpong. She really served their fine art to this film. Her expression game was top notch and no doubt she totally nailed their role of Mrs. D’Souza’.
You’ll also see Jaideep Ahlawat as “Teacher” aka Naren ‘Naru’ Vyas, Maya D’Souza’s neighbour, at first I’m sure you’ll think at least once that he’s not Jaideep Ahlawat, the makeup team totally changed their face to an old typical bald man and in terms of acting we all know about his capability and his acting potential.
Vijay Varma as inspector Karan Anand also did speculative job, a sharp minded police inspector who came to Kalimpong for the investigation. Saurabh Sachdeva as ASI Ajit Mhatre, maya’s ex-husband.
Saurabh Sachdeva had a less screen timing in the film but his work in the movie was undoubtedly their best. You can also saw Lin Laishram as Prema Kami, a Nepali waitress at Tiffin cafe, Kalimpong, Naisha Khanna as Tara D’Souza, Maya’s daughter, Uditi Singh as Young Soneeya Tawde/Maya Mhatre.

Jaane Jaan movie starts from Naren ‘Naru’ Vyas(Jaideep Ahlawat), he was all set to hang him up to the ceiling fan, but somehow from somewhere Mrs. D’Souza(Kareena kapoor khan) came and knocked his gate and he changed his mind and fall in love from her very first sight. Naren Vyas aka Naru, a teacher and a mathematical genius who lived just few step away from Mrs. D’Souza and admires her and secretly love her but from a distance.
One day Mrs. D’Souza past lives came in front of her eyes and by panic and chaos she killed a man by chance and for the investigation a man named Karan Anand(Vijay Varma) came to Kalimpong, a very sharp minded and clever inspector.
Naren Vyas finds at the same time he arrives from outside that Mrs. D’Souza killed someone and he tries to help her to escape this situation by guiding them( Mrs. D’Souza and her daughter). The brain storming situation between teacher and the inspector will definitely grab you to your seat, this was just upper things that I’m telling you in this review and trust me I’m not going to spoil it for you. Sujoy Ghosh directed Jaane Jaan movie budget is said to be 30 crores not officially declared yet and it is released on 21 September 2023 on OTT giant Netflix and because this movie is not released in theatres so its impossible to calculate its earning day by day but we will find out that this movie is a hit or flop in the basis of its views at the end of two week of its release. Jaane Jaan movie is getting great responses from the critics after two week of its release still the movie was doing way better than expected.
The movie had the biggest opening for an indian film on Netflix with 18.8M viewing hour from the 8.1M views in the first three days of its release. The movie is performing very well at the Netflix. The total runtime of this movie is 139 minutes and this movie is one of the best in the genre of crime thriller suspense.
