Sam Bahadur is a 2023 hindi language biographical war drama Indian film which is directed by Meghna Gulzar, who has also co-wrote the script with Shantanu Srivastav and Bhavani Iyer.
The film is a biography and based on the life of one of the smartest and decorated and India’s first field marshal named Sam Manekshaw.
The movie is produced by Ronnie Screwwala under the banner of RSVP Movies. The movie starring one of the talented actor of Bollywood named Vickey Kaushal along with Sanya Malhotra and Fatima Sana sheikh.

Fatima Sana Sheikh as Indira gandhi, she actually looks alike Indira Gandhi and acted so well. Her screen time is more than Sanya Malhotra and she shows us great skills set of acting along with them.

Sam Bahadur Movie Story
The movie starts from dehradun in the 1934 where cadet Sam Manekshaw is amongst first batch of gentleman cadets where he trained at Indian military academy, where he and his batchmates junior cum rival trained under the Tikka Khan.
After graduating that year Sam Manekshaw was posted as a second lieutenant to the 12th frontiers force regiment at the ferozpur after a while she met silloo bode who later became his wife.
The story of the movie based on the diplomatic situation and the second world war. The movies shows many events like Burma campaign during the battle of Sittang bridge and many more. Movie also shows personal life and lifestyles and nature of the field marshal Sam Manekshaw and ends with the retirement of Manekshaw and promotion of him to the field marshal position.

Meghna Gulzar’s directed movie Sam Bahadur is being made on a budget of 55 crores, and it is released on 1 December 2023 with more than 1800 screens in India. Sam Bahadur gets less screens because of the hype of Ranbir kapoor’s Animal which is released on the same day with Sam Bahadur.
On the first day the movies collected Rs 6.25 crores, and on the second day its earns Rs 9 crores and till now the total collection of the sam Bahadur is Rs 106.92 crores in India and Rs 124.4 crores worldwide.
The reaction of critics was also positive about the movie because movie is based on the army and ours smartest and decorated and India’s first field marshal named sam manekshaw.
