Babli Bouncer movie is a 2022 Indian Hindi language drama which is written by Amit Joshi, Aradhana Debnath, and Madhur Bhandarkar. The film is directed by the famous film director Madhur Bhandarkar.

The film is not set to release in the theatres. The film was directly premiered on the OTT platform Disney+ Hotstar.

The movie is based on a female bouncer’s life story. In this movie, we can see Tamannaah Bhatia in the lead role, Abhishek Bajaj, and Sahil Vaid doing supporting roles.

The movie stars Tamannaah as Babli Tanwar (Babli Bouncer) in the lead role, she is totally different in this movie with a desi accent and desi lifestyle and looking so cute throughout the movie and acts decent in this movie.

Abhishek Bajaj as Viraj Kaushik (Babli’s love interest), he is also nice with his acting and performance but he lacks facial expressions, definitely he can perform better than this but somewhere he lacks.

Sahil Vaid as Kukku, his role in the movie is similar like Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania for me but he totally suited the role of Kukku and delivered a worth watching performance.

Saurabh Shukla as Gajanan Tanwar (Babli’s father), Supriya Shukla as Ganga Tanwar (Babli’s mother), Khabir Mehta as Golu Tanwar (Babli’s brother), Priyam Saha as Pinky (Babli’s friend).

Babli’s family and her friend Pinku’s performances help to uplift the character of Babli. Along with this, the other cast was also effective in the movie i.e., Saanand Verma as Jaggi Paaji, Atul Singh as Sameer, Sabyasachi Chakrabarty as Saurav Dutta (Uncle Ji), Karan Singh Chhabra as Mannu, Upasna Singh as Dolly Chadha, Ashwini Kalsekar as Bobby, Rajesh Khera as Inspector Amarnath Singh, and Anushka Lohar as Natasha (Nats).

Babli Bouncer is a film that is based on the theme of a female bouncer. Babli is a girl who lives in Fatehpur, Beri village, the village is known for its bodybuilders and their bouncers.

Babli’s father is a trainer in the desi akhada who trained boys to become bouncer in the clubs. Babli has also an interest in doing exercise and eating lots of chapatis like a bodybuilder. She’s a typical desi girl.

In one marriage, she met a boy named Viraj and falls in love with him, but the boy is living in Delhi and working for a Multinational company in Delhi. She has done all kinds of stuff for going to Delhi for Viraj and convinced her father for her job in Delhi as a female bouncer in Delhi. On the occasion of Viraj’s birthday, she confessed her feelings in front of him, but he disrespects her for being uneducated and uncivil and tells her to go home.

Babli gets heartbroken and decided to change herself not only for impressing Viraj and to improve her social status. The story revolves around her and being better and educated herself while working for a nightclub as a female bouncer.

Madhur Bhandarkar directed movie Babli Bouncer is released on 23 September 2022 on OTT giant Disney+ Hotstar. The movie is directly released on the OTT platforms, not in theatres.

The film was made on the budget of around 40 crores and got 4 Million i.e., 40 Lakh views in its opening weekend on Hotstar in India. Babli bouncer needed to reach more than 40 Lakh viewers in its opening weekend in India at Disney + Hotstar to be called an Average and should cross more than 70 lakh Views to be called a Hit.

Babli Bouncer did not release at the box office so there are no collections to measure hit or flop.
