Black Adam is a 2022 American superhero film, which is based on a DC comic character with the same name.

The movie Black Adam was directed by Jaume Collet-Serra and written by Adam Sztykiel, Sohrab Noshirvani, and Rory Haines. And, the movie is produced by New line Cinema, Seven Bucks Production, Flynn Picture Company and DC Films. The movie is a spin-off from Shazam, which was released in 2019.

The film stars Dwayne Johnson as a lead superhero in the film and also served as a producer. Along with Dwayne Johnson, The film also starring Aldis Hodge, Sarah Shahi, Noah Centineo, Marwan Kenzari, and many more.

The film has many superheroes and also great actors. In the lead of the film, you can see Dwayne Johnson as Teth-Adam (Black Adam) who delivered his one of the best performances in this film as DC’s new character Black Adam. Dwayne Johnson’s acting and action were a treat for the audience, who loves to watch superheroes movie.

Apart from him, the movie also has Aldis Hodge as Hawkman (Carter Hall), The leader of the justice society of America Black Adam. Noah Centineo as Atom Smasher (Al Rothstein), it’s one of the interesting characters and a young member of the justice society team, who can change his structure according to his need.

Pierce Brosnan as Kent Nelson (Dr. Fate), a senior and experienced member of the justice society, he is capable of various sorcery abilities. Quintessa Swindell as Maxine Hunkel (Cyclone) is also a member of the justice society team who has the ability to control wind and generate sound.

Apart from these, there are many more casts, who made this film entertaining and built a story for their viewers i.e., Sarah Shahi as Adrianna Tomaz, Marwan Kenzari as Ishmael Gregor (Saffue), Mo. Amer as Karim, Bodhi Sabongui as Amon Tomaz.

The movie shows the story of 2600 BC, where the king of Kahndaq, Akon, creates the crown of Sabbac, which contains an immense level of power in it and gives the wearer great power. After attempting to stage a revolt, one of the young slave boys is given the powers of Shazam by the councils of wizards and transforms that boy into a Kahndaq Heroic Champion, who later kills Ahk-Ton and his reign.

In the present day, Kahndaq is oppressed and controlled by the intergang. The Intergang is ruling Kahndaq city and the people for their motives. On the other hand, Archaeologist Adrianna Tomaz and her other mates try to locate the crown of Sabbac.

As Adrianna obtains the crown, Intergang ambushes them and after reading an incantation, Adriana awakens Teth Adam. Who believes to be Kahndaq’s champion. Teth Adam smashes most of the intergang troops with his power of lightning and speed, but the Teth Adam was so brutal that he indirectly and directly destroys the whole city and Kahndaq people’s life.

For fighting the Teth Adam, the justice society of America takes charge against him and called their team members to control the Teth Adam (Black Adam).

The Dwayne Johnson starer superhero movie Black Adam was released on 3 October 2022 in Mexico City and on 21 October 2022 in other countries including India.

The budget of this film is said to be $195-$200 million and till now manages to earn $147.4 million. In India, the movie earned Rs 23.50 crores after four days of its release.

The film received mixed to negative reviews from critics, with praise for the performance of Dwayne johnson and its action sequences. But, criticism for the plot of the movie.
