Hit: The First Case Movie Review
Hit: The First Case is a 2022 Indian Hindi-language action thriller film. Which is a remake of a Telugu language action thriller film with the same name. Hit: The First Case was released on 28 February 2020. Both movies were directed by Sailesh Kolanu.
The Hindi remake of Hit: The First Case starring Rajkumar Rao, and Sanya Malhotra are in the lead role, while Dalip Tahil, Milind Gunaji, Akhil Iyer, Sanjay Narvekar, Jatin Goswami were in supporting roles in the film. The whole movie is based on a mysteriously missing case of two girls, one of those girls was an officer of HIT (Homicide Intervention Team).
The movie is full of suspense and thriller. The storyline is good enough to hold you up till the end.
Hit: The First Case Casting
Now, let’s come to the casting of the movie. The role of senior inspector Vikram was totally for Rajkumar Rao. Rajkumar Rao was phenomenal in the movie, the selection of Rajkumar Rao for this movie was a great choice for the character of inspector Vikram. He was completed suited for this role and played his role perfectly.
In the female lead, Sanya Malhotra’s scenes were comparably less in the movie, but yes in the limited scenes, she delivered her best in the role. Some scenes of Rajkumar Rao and Sanya Malhotra were really memorizing.
The chemistry between Rajkumar Rao and Sanya Malhotra was really well. Apart from the lead role, I was personally impressed by the role of Inspector Ebrahim Sheikh, Aka Milind Gunaji. Despite from a short role throughout the movie, they did their best to grab the attention and catch the eyes of the audience with their splendid acting in the movie and the other pivotal role were also good.
In the supporting role, Akhil Iyer did good, and Shilpa Shukla’s acting was great. All the supporting roles did their best for the movie and made an impactful thriller powerpack kind of movie with their fabulous acting.
Hit: The First Case Story
Vikram, a senior police officer was working for the Homicide Intervention Team (HIT) in Rajasthan. The story of the movie revolves around when a girl named Preeti gets mysteriously missing on the ring road of Jaipur. Vikram is also battling with his own traumatic past, and a victim of PTSD. HIT is known to have a quick solution in his cases in a short time, but shares a depressive past.
His job as an investigation officer always reminds him of his past experiences, which directly gives him short panic attacks and anxiety, and directly impacts his health. After Preeti, Neha gets kidnapped from her home and Vikram has to step into the case for saving Neha along with 18 years old Preeti.
HIT movie is a complete package of thriller and suspense, you can’t predict that who is behind of all the kidnappings and in the last 30-40 minutes of movie, the story completely turns into a new direction. You cannot predict what is going to happen next.
The script wasn’t well written though, few loose ends are there. Action scenes are very less. The movie phenomenon for HIT thrillers but the ending twist was unnecessary and it could be better if they focus on that. A very okay okay ending is there in the movie. Overall a one-time watch movie with family, if you are okay with its kissing sequences. Few kissing scenes are there in the movie. A treat for suspense and thrillers loves on this weekend with stellar performance by the cast.
Hit: The First Case Collection
Hit: The First Case was released on 15 July 2022 at Indian Box Office, but saw no lack at the ticket windows on day one. The day one collection of Rajkumar Rao’s Hit was approximately under 1 crore, but on the second day witnessed an upward trend by 65%.
The movie HIT second-day collection was approximately under the 2 crore mark, taking the total collection of the film to around Rs 3 crores Net. So, the film might end the weekend with a collection of around 5.50 crore rupees net. And the movie HIT: The First Case will be available in a while on Netflix.
