Kuch Khatta Ho Jaay is a Indian 2024 Hindi romantic comedy film, which is directed by Ashok ji and written by Raj Saluj, Niket Pandey and Vijay Pal Singh.
The movie starring well known Punjabi singer Guru Randhawa along with Saiee Manjrekar in the lead role. The movie is produced under the banner of Maach Films.
The movie shows a beautiful chemistry between Guru Randhawa and Saiee Maajhrekar.

The well known punjabi singer Guru Randhawa is leading the pack along with Saiee Maajhrekar, who is the daughter of Sanjay Maanjhrekar.
In this film you’ll see Guru Randhawa as Heer, and by acting wise he is decent because he’s not an well established or trained actor. Guru Randhawa’s dialogue delivery and screen presence was nice.
Saiee Majhrekar as Ira, she’s also shows decent acting as Ira, both the lead actor was just decent not so good or phenomenal.
Apart from that you’ll see Anupam Kher as Heer’s grandfather, and he is perfect for the role of Heer’s grandfather and also adds emotions and shows a high level acting skills throughout the movie but last few scenes of him were just extremely fine and perfect.
The comedy department was solely handled by Paritosh Tripathi as Chaman and Atul Srivastava as bade Chachaji (uncle). They both were phenomenally good with their comedy timing and dialogue delivery.
Apart from them there are many more skilled actors in the film i.e., Paresh Ganatra as chose chachaji and Ila Arun as Chachi ji and Brahmanandam in a cameo appearance.
Kuch Khatta Ho Jaay Movie Storyline in Brief
The movie starts from Ira (Saiee Majhrekar), whose first priority was becoming an IAS officer by clearing UPSC exam and her second priority was Heer (Guru Randhawa). They both loves each other but the only obstacle came into the Heer way is her dream, but Heer was okay with it and promise her to support her dream of becoming IAS.
They both had family pressure for their marriage and after a while they both decided to get married to escape family pressure but the dream of becoming IAS was constant, not changed. However, a misunderstanding arises when Heer’s family mistakenly assumes that ira is pregnant and then the real chaos begin.

Ashok ji directed film Kuch Khattaa Ho Jaay is being made on a budget of 30 crores, and it is released on 16 february 2024 with 2000 screens in India and 300 screens at overseas.
The movie only manages to earn 25 lakhs on its very first day of release and the second day of earning is still pending to be calculate.
The reaction of critics was decent by the movie because its a complete family film and there is no obscene scenes in the movie and also tries to delivered a message.
