Thank God is a 2022 Indian Hindi language film that is based totally on fantasy and drama which is directed by Indra Kumar and written by Aakash Kaushik and Madhur Sharma.

The movie is an official remake of a Danish film named Sorte Kugler which is released in 2009. This movie is purely based on the fantasies of a man with stars Ajay Devgn, Sidharth Malhotra and Rakul Preet Singh in the lead role.

This movie is produced by T-Series films, Soham Rockstar, Maruti International and Anand Pandit Motion Pictures.

Thank God movie has an unique and suitable star cast that is totally going with their characters. The movie has an evergreen star like Ajay Devgn as Chitragupt (CG). He is totally phenomenal with his role and yes, you can say after watching the movie, that this movie is a Ajay Devgn’s movie because he clearly move the movie on his shoulders, literally living the character of CG.

Sidharth Malhotra as Aayan Kapoor. He is good with his role and it will impress you but if you only love the character of Sidharth Malhotra as Vikram Batra in Shershah then this movie is not for you.

Except male lead, there is also a female lead who is Rakul Preet Singh as Ruhi Kapoor plays the role of Aayan’s wife. As usual, she’s looking beautiful throughout the movie and delivered nice work.

Nora Fatehi is used well by the makers of the movie in Thank God.

What is Thank God movie about?

Thank God Story

This is a story of a person named Aayan Malhotra, a real estate businessman. Due to some circumstances, he has a debt of 16 crores to pay off, but he had a growing business because of his involvement in black money.

Suddenly one day the prime minister of India announced demonetization and then Aayan had lost all of his black money and wealth in the demonetization. Now, he has a huge amount of debt to pay off. He suffers many financial difficulties and it’s going really hard for him to escape from this situation.

One day Aayan involved in a road accident and regain consciousness in heaven where he saw Chitragupta CG (Ajay Devgn) and Yama. There in heaven, CG and Yama decided to provide him a chance to send him back to earth but there is one condition for him. They tell Aayan about a game named game of life. If Aayan wins that game then they will send him back to earth.

Aakash Kaushik and Madhur Sharma’s written and Indra Kumar’s directed movie Thank God was released on 25 October 2022 theatrically during Diwali Festivital alongside Akshay Kumar’s Ram Setu.

The movie has made with a budget of only Rs 50 crores. At the end of 8 days theatrical run, the movie Thank God has managed to earn an estimated 41.33 crores.

The movie gets mixed reviews from critics with praise for Ajay Devgn’s performance and its climax. The movie run time is 121 minutes.
