Monica, O My Darling is a 2022 Indian Hindi language film that is based on a Neo-noir crime comedy thriller theme.

This film is directed by Vasan Bala and was adapted from the 1989 Japanese novel Brutus no Shinzo by Keigo Higashino, and the movie’s name is inspired by the 1971 released movie Caravan’s track Monica O My Darling.

The film stars Rajkumar Rao, Radhika Apte and Huma Qureshi in the main lead roles. The film is distributed by the OTT giant Netflix.

Monica O My Darling is the story of a man named Jayant Arkhedkar (Rajkumar Rao) who worked really hard to achieve success in his life by studying at IIT and then gets a Job as an employee at unicorn factory (a company that works on making machines).

The CEO of unicorn Satyananda Adhikari saw Jayant’s talent and hard work and promoted him. And finally, on the 50th anniversary of Unicorn factory. CEO Satyananda Adhikari promotes Jayant to the board of directors for the company’s position and gives 4% share of the company because of his talents and his relationship with her daughter Nikki Adhikari.

Jayant has also had affair with Monica an employee at Unicorn, Monica has many affairs at the office and blackmails everyone for money.
