Phone Bhoot is a 2022 Indian Hindi language film that is based on a supernatural horror comedy.

The film is directed by Gurmeet Singh and produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar under the banner of excel entertainment. And, written by Ravi Shankaran and Jaswinder Singh Bath.

This film starring Katrina Kaif, Sidharth Chaturvedi, Ishaan Khattar and Jackie Shroff in the main lead of the film.

This film is based on two guys who want to be ghostbusters to fulfill their desires and money requirement.

The movie Phone Bhoot has two new actors who are very talented and has great acting skills in them and along with them, there is also a gorgeous actress of Bollywood.

In the main lead of the film, you will see Ishaan Khatter as Galileo Parthasarthy a.k.a., Gullu and Siddhant Chaturvedi as Sherdil Shergill a.k.a., Major.

In this film, you will see a bromance between these two young actors of Bollywood. They both will entertain you in the movie and they acted nicely in the film.

In the female lead you will see gorgeous actress Katrina Kaif as Ragini Maheshwari (a ghost) and also she acted decent role in this film, need for the role of Ragini Maheswari in the film is totally and perfectly fulfilled by Katrina Kaif.

Phone Bhoot Story

The movie is based on two unemployed young men and a female ghost. Gully and Major are two unemployed young men who love watching a lot of horror movies and aspire to become exorcists and ghostbusters to earn living by catching ghosts.

They lived in a rented house where they always pray to their close friend Raka to help them to escape from poverty. Raka is basically a statue that they obtained while digging across a hill.

On one fine day, they hosted a party for Halloween at midnight after seeking the permission of Raka. on that night, unfortunately, both of them electrocuted during this maneuver and fall unconscious on the ground. During the unconscious and some kind of realm after death together they meet Ragini, a gorgeous and benevolent ghost who offers a business plan to them and promises to help them by fulfilling their needs and desires.

Phone Bhoot Budget and Collection

Gurmeet Singh directed and Ravi Shankaran and Jaswinder Singh Bath’s written movie phone shoot was released on 4 November 2022 theatrically.

The movie has made with a budget of only Rs 45 crores and at the end of 5 days theatrical run, the movie Phone Bhoot has only managed to earn an estimated Rs 14.08 crores, which is a little disappointing for the makers of the film.

The movie gets mixed reviews from critics. The music of the film is given by Rochak Kohli, Roy, Tanishk Bagchi and McCleary. The movie run time is 136 minutes. The OTT rights of this film is yet to be announced.
