The film 83 is written and directed by Kabir Khan and produced by Deepika Padukone, Kabir Khan, Vishnu Vardhan Induri, Sajid Nadiadwala, and Reliance Entertainment. 83 movie were co-written by Khan along with Sanjay Puran Singh Chauhan, Vasan Bala, and Sumit Arora. Sports action in the film is directed by rob miller.
The movie features many actors but mainly, in lead, you see Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, and Pankaj Tripathi. The movie details the journey of the victory of the Indian cricket team, led by Kapil dev, in the 1983 World Cup.

Ranveer Singh is terrific in a restrained, understated performance, much like the Haryana Hurricane himself (Kapil Dev). The typical North Indian accent, the bowling action, the teeth, the mustache, the attitude, the way of talking, and the batting style. It feels like you are watching Kapil Dev himself on the screen.

83 Story
The movie starts with the Indian sports executive, where everyone is laughing at Indian teams and making questions about their existence. No one thought that India can win the 1983 World Cup. After reaching there for the World Cup, all the journalists and even Indians who are living there were making fun of the Indian team.
Everyone believed the Indian cricket team is just good for nothing but Kapil dev (Ranveer Singh) led the team from the front. Even the Indian cricket team didn’t believe that they can win even a single match, they just went for fun and entertainment. But Kapil dev with his team proved everyone wrong and win that 1983 World Cup for India.
On 25 June 1983, the Lord’s Cricket Ground witnessed 11 men beat twice World Champions West Indies, putting India firmly onto the cricket world stage.
